What’s On?
Divided into three key areas, WATCH, PLAY, LEARN, The Family Pet Show attractions include dog agility displays, a mini-farm with micro-pigs, goats and sheep, and Safari Phil and his critter zoo.
Then there are our fun dog shows, double-decker play bus, face painting, an information-packed LEARN area to find out more about how to care for and choose your pet, a series of fun exhibitions and demonstrations and much, much more.
The show you can bring your pet too! (Yes really!)
The Family Pet Show attractions include the only heat of Scruffts in the North West – you and your crossbreed could end up in the final at Crufts next year, fun dog shows, dog agility displays, Crocodile Joe’s Wild World and Safari Phil and his critter zoo. If you are feline lover then CAT WORLD is for you. We reserve the right to ask you to leave the show if you or your pet is causing a disturbance. Please take full responsibility for your pet at the show!
Be equipped
Been as you can bring your ultimate best friend to the pet show we at Huggles want to make sure you are fully equipped for the journey ahead.
Whether you going for a day or the weekend, we want you and your companion to have the best experience possible.
Fortunately, the weather is looking good and is expected to be around 18 degrees on Saturday but Sunday there are expected showers.
We recommend taking a Travel harness for your Cat or Dog so they’re comfortable while walking and you know you have ultimate control. Our Dog Travel Harnesses can be found here and Cat Travel Harnesses can be found here.
During the event, your pet will get hungry over time so we recommend bringing some dry treats to give them throughout the day like Dreamies Cat Treats.

The most important thing for pet owners is keeping your pets hydrated through the day. The weather is expected to be around 18 degrees so your pets will get hot fast. The pets most at risk are your dogs so we suggest you take either a Travel Water Bottle or a Portable Water Bowl.
It is important that you keep your pets hydrated so make sure you don’t ignore it.
