A message from the HugglePets Family,
2020 was a year that no one expected to happen how it has. It’s been a roller coaster of a year and certainly had its challenges for everyone. We are thankful to all of our suppliers, customers, supporters and friends who have been a part of our journey this year.
In our commercial business, we continued to invest in our products, our infrastructure and most importantly our people. This ensures a solid footing for the future and gives us optimism that we can continue to grow as we have over the 8 years since we began. We had to dynamically change a lot of our infrastructure when Covid hit but we are proud that without disruption to our customers we managed to keep our operations seamless. We took part in National Media campaigns on Television, Radio, Digital and Print with Ebay, we were extremely proud of this. This is no small part is down to our team who rolled their sleeves up and did their very best in difficult uncertain circumstances. We are proud to be part of our local community and proud of where we come from (The Mighty Wolverhampton). Therefore, to create jobs in our community is something we find really rewarding.
HugglePets in the Community our Non-For-Profit Organisation has had to make huge changes to do what we do. At the beginning of the year, we picked up a community award from The Signature awards. We are proud that we are stronger now than we ever have been and have a fantastic team here. We have impacted 1000s of lives with our animal assisted interventions which have helped children with their mental wellbeing. We received emergency funding from the National Lottery to support children due to the effects of Covid. We have visited schools when they reopened in September to help children suffering from anxiety and abuse. This more than ever is desperately needed in difficult times.
No one can tell what the future holds but by working together and supporting each other we can make sure that we are strong enough to keep growing and impacting more lives in a positive way.
In the meantime, have a great break and remember even if it’s been personally tough for you remember our Cities Slogan “Out of darkness cometh light”. Take some time to relax, recalibrate and we will see you all in 2021.
