[April Fool’s Day 2022] New Animals Have Arrived at HugglePets!
Here at HugglePets, we pride ourselves on our wide and varied catalogue of small animals and livestock, all of which our shop staff are capable of providing expertise care and knowledge for. And today, we’re excited to announce that 6 new types of animals will be joining the HugglePets family. Take a look at these latest additions!
Ewok
Native to the forest moon of Endor, these furry little guys are a favourite for anyone who holds nostalgia for the teddy bears of their childhood.
They’re often seen in groups among treetop villages, and they’re no stranger to a fight! In fact, the Ewok species is advanced enough to craft spears and braid women’s hair.
How to Care For: Provide plenty of live stormtroopers for the Ewok to hunt and feed on, and give them lots and lots of attention.
Hippogriff
Often seen in the Forbidden Forest on the grounds of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the hippogriff is a magnificent bird of flight that is capable of being ridden if approached properly.
WARNING: Hippogriffs may be a danger to blond males with father complexes.
How to Care For: Keep lots of raw fish for the hippogriff to consume, and let them roam in the wilderness on a regular basis.
Dodo Bird
Originating on the island of Mauritius, the dodo is a lively flightless bird that is hard to find, but easy to love. Known for its brownish-grey plumage, yellow feet and naked head, this elusive bird is a favourite for any avian enthusiast – especially one with an interest in history.
Our stock of dodo birds is extremely scarce as is, so be sure to take one home before it’s too late.
How to Care For: Prevent extinction by not hunting the dodo bird and destroying its natural habitat.
Pikachu
Found mostly in the Kanto region of Japan, the Pikachu is a mouse-like creature with bright yellow fur, red cheeks, and a pointed tail somewhat in the shape of a lightning bolt.
WARNING: Pikachus have a built-in defence system that utilises an electric attack to ward off predators and prey alike. Owners can protect themselves by keeping other pets with Ground type moves.
How to Care For: Make sure to give them lots of berries to eat, and take them to a resting spot if they become fatigued.
Three-Eyed Fish
Discovered in the natural bodies of water in Springfield, America, the three-eyed fish is an odd creature that most likely evolved into its current state due to radiation caused by nuclear waste dumped in the water.
Distinctive due to its third eye, this fish is a must-have for those who enjoy bizarre animals and especially for those who wish to liven up their aquarium.
How to Care For: Protect the fish from those would call it a mutant or abomination.
Balloon Animal
Mostly a companion at children’s parties, the balloon animal is a colourful if docile creature that is regularly seen as a mainstay of the clowning profession.
WARNING: Avoid touching the balloon animal with sharp objects, as their skin is extremely sensitive to even the lightest of scratches.
How to Care For: Since the balloon animal is completely immobile, be sure to keep it in motion by throwing it into the air and waiting for it to land.
We look forward to seeing our customer’s reactions to these bold new additions to our livestock that definitely exist. Definitely.
