Arcadia EarthPro Optimised52 Tortoise Food is a vet checked, all-natural way of feeding tortoises, developed to replicate wild feeding by only using natural ingredients. Without the use of any non-natural fillers such as seed husks, nut shells, Maize, soya and flours.
Tortoises have developed over vast time to be opportunistic feeders that are highly herbivorous, and indeed they are an exploring species that will graze as opportunity arises within seasonality. The wild diet of the Mediterranean species consists firstly of leafy vegetation, further added to by grasses, roots, tubers, and seasonal flowers. Optimised52 offers a wild diet of this type is simultaneously very high in fibre, low in protein, sodium and fats. Additionally, natural geophagy is also a vital supplier of essential minerals and vitamins, mostly from the B group.
EarthPro-Optimised52 is the very finest, most nutritious pet tortoise diet available for this reason. Feeding Guide:
Add 12 teaspoons of fresh cold water to 1 tile of Optimised52 in a cup or feeding bowl. Wait 5-10 minutes for the tile to expand.
Feed approximately 1-2 tiles per day based on 400g of body weight. This is based on 1-3% of total bodyweight per kg as dry food.
